"How was Up North Naturals hiding from me all this time? Been hunting for a Canadian product that isn't laden with fragrance and that contains reasonable ingredients for use on my young kids. Somehow stumbled across this, and I couldn't be happier. Works on both my toddler boy's easily tangled curls, and my daughter's tangle-prone waves. Non-crunchy hold for the girl, and easy, quick brush for the reluctant boy. So, so thankful. Finally, a great, effective choice for Black kids. Awesome for daily use."

"I've been so impressed by every product from Up North Naturals but this lotion is absolutely top tier for me (3a curly, coarse, med-porosity). Layered on the hair milk or another leave-in and it's soft, shiny, with a nice bit of hold, even on day 2. Top it with a bit of the gelly and it's low maintenance curls for five days, at least. Refreshes well with plain water or the hair mist, and does triple-duty with some water to help hydrate and define day 2+ curls. Definitely going to repurchase this!"
